# MutualBoost client manual

V157 · 2026-10-25

Configure, publish and use your platform. Procedures follow features present in release V157, with a settings reference and screen-specific help.

## Start

### Getting started with MutualBoost

One client server for your organisation, a public website, member workspace and native app.

Where to find this option : Administration → Help and documentation → User manual

#### Choose the right workspace

Visitors explore your website and offers. Members follow their records and subscriptions. Staff use the administration sections allowed by their role. The publisher central manages distribution and does not replace your client server.

#### Follow a practical order

Complete installation, branding, industry model, languages and access rights. Then check products, registration, payments and messaging. Publish your pages and verify the website and app.

#### Find a setting

Search for a name, field or action in this help centre. Chapters explain procedures; the reference lists fields found in forms. The administration Help button opens the topic related to your screen.

### Install on a new domain

A secure seven-step wizard with saved-progress recovery.

Where to find this option : First visit to the domain → /installation

#### Prepare hosting

Use HTTPS, PHP 8.3 or later compatible with this Laravel 12 project, the extensions listed in the supplied composer.json, and a new MySQL database. Set the web root to the project public directory. Storage and cache directories must be writable.

#### Complete the seven steps

1. Licence and private setup token; 2. Empty database connection; 3. Administrator account; 4. Organisation, identifiers and languages; 5. Industry, modules and content; 6. Header and footer links; 7. Review and completion. Some tasks can be deferred when the wizard offers that choice.

#### Finish and verify

The wizard refuses to erase a populated database. It prepares tables, the account and storage according to your choices. After signing in, complete any remaining setup tasks. Update an existing installation through the update centre rather than reinstalling it.

#### Settings to understand

**MySQL connection**

Host, port from 1 to 65535, database, username and password; use an account authorised for that database.

**Initial administrator**

Name, email, personal login of 3 to 80 characters and a password of at least 12 characters with confirmation. ADMIN-DEMO is reserved.

**Complete project and cumulative release**

A new installation requires a complete Laravel project including artisan and composer.json. The client folder supplied in the working sources is a cumulative release to integrate into that base; it does not itself contain every file from the initial project.

#### If something goes wrong

**The database is not empty**

Choose a new database. Back up an existing installation; the wizard will not delete it.

**The wizard asks for the token again**

Use this installation’s private token and the same browser. Reload the page if the form has expired.

### Activate and diagnose the licence

Web activation covers the site and app APIs.

Where to find this option : Administration → Platform licence

#### Activate on the web

Choose the available origin: a direct MutualBoost licence or a CodeCanyon / Envato purchase. Enter the key or purchase code issued for your domain. The central-server connection and public key belong to this installation.

#### Understand the status

Check the displayed status, domain and dates. An active installation does not require manual renewal on each visit. Ask the publisher to verify the binding after changing domain. The mobile app does not display a licence activation form.

#### Prepare a useful diagnostic

Record the affected domain and diagnostic message without posting private keys or purchase codes publicly. Licence status and demo mode are separate settings.

#### Settings to understand

**Technical central-server connection**

The technical team configures MUTUALBOOST_LICENSE_SERVER_URL and the trusted public key MUTUALBOOST_LICENSE_PUBLIC_KEY. Update signature verification uses MUTUALBOOST_UPDATES_PUBLIC_KEY. These public keys have separate purposes; never install the publisher’s private signing key on a client.

```
php artisan licenses:diagnose
php artisan licenses:refresh
```

### Install or replace an industry model

Choose one of ten industries and control imported content.

Where to find this option : Organisation Studio → Install an industry demo

#### Preview then select

Compare the industry website presentation and native screens. Select its modules, supplementary sections and allowed shortcut order. Each of the ten industries has its own identity; the five historical palettes are not separate industry installations.

#### Choose replacements

Final review separates industry pages, identity and appearance, modules and menus, Flutter home, web home and native information pages. Select only the categories to replace and confirm the change. A replacement selection can overwrite customisations in that category.

#### Select sample content

Choose an empty installation or the samples offered for this industry: people, modules and operations, or groups and cycles for rotating savings. Replacing samples also requires enabling sample creation. After import, read the result and the categories actually installed.

#### Settings to understand

**Restore**

The Studio can restore saved configurations when a backup exists. This is not a replacement for a full database and file backup.

**Modules**

Keep at least one module; available modules depend on the industry. Bottom navigation keeps at most five allowed entries.

#### If something goes wrong

**Replacing samples is rejected**

Enable sample creation first, then choose the sections. Check flagged fields rather than restarting the whole installation to bypass validation.

### Sample data and test accounts

Edit, simulate and remove samples without confusing ordinary records.

Where to find this option : Organisation Studio → Industry content → Sample data workshop

#### Identify batches

Each batch belongs to an industry. Review its people, content and operations in the workshop. Workshop actions are isolated simulations; a simulated action is not a payment confirmed by a provider.

#### Manage demo access

Demo account screens provide authorised access and reset tools. Demo logins should not become real staff accounts. Ordinary accounts have separate assignments and permissions.

#### Purge deliberately

Use the selected-batch purge or remove all samples when that control is available. Read the confirmation and removal report. Keep a backup before removing samples used in your tests. Design reset commands have a different scope.

### Demo mode: publisher and client isolation

A demo tour does not change your client’s published industry.

Where to find this option : Studio → Identity & publishing → Appearance → Demo mode

#### Understand the local setting

Demo mode is published on the installation where you change it. Turning it on or off at the publisher does not change a client installation’s pages, modules or data.

#### Distinguish the mobile gallery

The V155 native ten-industry selector requires a publisher server, its published demo mode and a non-empty allowed catalog. The client does not publish this cross-industry selector. Client-specific test logins remain independent.

#### Refresh the app

Demo selection is local to the tour and uses fictional examples. Switching industries resets that preview. A revocation received with refreshed settings closes the affected access. Disk cache alone cannot enable the menu.

#### Enter without a password

On the sign-in screen, choose “Try as a member” or “Try as an administrator”. In a publisher mobile demo, open “Try the demo”: your selected industry is retained. A client installation only exposes fictional examples for its own published industry.

#### Browse without making changes

V157 opens a native read-only workspace with fictional fixtures. It never creates a real administrator or reuses an actual member. Both roles are read only: no payments, additions, deletions, profile edits or messages. Legacy demo sign-in addresses are isolated too, and older active demo sessions can no longer perform actions.

#### Exit and understand the lifetime

The session lasts up to thirty minutes. Use “Exit the demo” to close only your visit. Live settings and periodic checks close the preview when its demo mode or industry becomes unavailable. The demo token stays in app memory: it never replaces the client login and is not stored for offline use.

#### If something goes wrong

**The two buttons are missing**

Publish demo mode on this installation, check the installed industry or the publisher’s allowed catalog, then refresh settings. Install server V157 and rebuild the app with lib V157. Offline cache and demo activation only at the publisher must not activate demos for a client.

## Manage records and finance

### Read the dashboard

Understand indicators and find your authorised sections.

Where to find this option : Overview → Dashboard

#### Choose a period

Indicators depend on your permissions, available data and, for some blocks, the chosen period. Distinguish a balance at a date from receipts over a period. An empty screen may simply mean no activity has been recorded yet.

#### Process relevant items

Open membership requests, pending payments, expenses or conversations using the available shortcuts. An alert leads to a record to review and does not replace business validation.

### Registration and membership approval

Configure the registration form, product selection and entry payments.

Where to find this option : Administration → Registration and payment; Members and records → Applications

#### Choose the journey

Enable or close new registrations. The form can follow published configuration, use a single screen or multiple steps. Product selection may be single or multiple. Choose when payment is requested: at registration, required, or deferred according to the offered option.

#### Distinguish requirements

Product selection and payment before registration are separate conditions. Requirements for linked insured persons are also separate. Titles, descriptions and button labels change presentation, not permissions or product rules.

#### Review applications

Check the profile, documents, products and payments before approving or rejecting. Automatic approval settings for members, insured persons and dependants are separate business rules. A browser payment return is not by itself server confirmation.

#### If something goes wrong

**The form will not continue**

Check required fields, display conditions, active offer, eligibility and configured gateway. Use the validation summary before changing rules.

### Members, profiles and records

Create, search and maintain primary member records.

Where to find this option : Members and records → Primary members

#### Identify the person

Search before creating a duplicate record. Enter the required information, account state and active custom fields. Member numbering follows the configured pattern. Contact details and sign-in identifiers serve different purposes.

#### Follow the record

From the profile, review linked people, contributions and products according to your permissions. Approving a member does not automatically grant a staff role. Correct an account state using the authorised action instead of creating another account.

### Member login, profile and help

Access your account and use website or app journeys.

Where to find this option : Login / My workspace / Profile / Support

#### Sign in or recover access

Use the website or app connected to your organisation and enter the requested sign-in details. If you forget access, open recovery: it offers a one-time code followed by a new password. Follow the displayed steps and messages; do not share the code with another person.

#### Maintain your profile

In Profile, review your information, update allowed fields and use the change-password action. Insured people, beneficiaries and private documents have dedicated sections. A profile change does not automatically approve membership or a subscription.

#### Follow entitlements and request help

Review subscribed products, entitlements, due items, notifications and requests in the sections offered to your account. If an option is missing, check account status then contact organisation support. For data deletion, use the channel described on its dedicated page; reading the page does not delete the account.

### Insured persons and beneficiaries

Distinguish covered persons from linked beneficiaries.

Where to find this option : Members and records → Linked insured persons / Beneficiaries

#### Link to the correct member

Select the primary member, relationship, identity information and required documents. Relationship type, age and allowed number of people may depend on the offer.

#### Approve separately

Linked records have their own approval rules and insured persons may require product selection or payment. Adding a person to a profile does not necessarily mean coverage is already active.

### Dynamic forms and conditions

Configure requested information in supported journeys.

Where to find this option : Members and records → Dynamic forms; Rules → Forms

#### Create and attach

Name and enable the form, then choose its journey: registration, member, insured person or beneficiary. The builder handles fields, order, steps and offered product options. Assigning a form to a journey is a separate general setting.

#### Configure each field

Choose a stable key, label, input type, choices where needed and whether the field is required. Conditions use a reference field, operator and value. Conditional rules remain rules; do not translate their technical values as labels.

#### Test branches

Preview the form with and without the triggering answer. Check that hidden fields do not block the journey and each step is clear in published languages. Enable dynamic forms before expecting the app to use them.

### Custom fields

Add record-specific information without changing mobile code.

Where to find this option : Members and records → Custom fields

#### Define the data

Choose the label, technical key, input type and possible choices. Keep keys stable; changing their meaning after collecting data makes older records harder to interpret.

#### Publish and translate

Enable the field in supported journeys and set its order and required state. Translate labels and help while retaining technical values expected by conditions and exports.

### Create products and offers

Presentation, pricing, schedules, eligibility and subscription rules.

Where to find this option : Products and benefits → Product catalogue

#### Present the product

Select an available type, name, currency, image, descriptions, badge and featured status. Active state and display order control presentation. An inactive product is not a new offer to present to visitors.

#### Set pricing and duration

Distinguish joining fee, contribution, target capital, minimum and maximum payment, fixed or percentage management fees, and account code. Set recurrence, due day, duration, cycles and availability window when those fields apply to the chosen type.

#### Make terms explicit

Describe benefits, required documents, eligible occupations, age and gender targeting, FAQ and terms. Automatic approval and payment required for subscription are distinct. Product-specific forms complement these rules without replacing server validation.

#### Settings to understand

**Late payments**

Set fixed or percentage penalties and grace days; check the combination on a test record.

**Advanced rules**

Withdrawals, transfers, loans, insured coverage and death benefits are detailed in the next chapter. A field does not automatically enable every operation for every type.

### Coverage, withdrawals, loans and benefits

Understand advanced rules before publishing an offer.

Where to find this option : Product catalogue → Create / Edit offer → Advanced rules

#### Coverage and beneficiaries

An offer can allow linked insured persons with a maximum count, age limit and allowed relationships. Beneficiaries have separate limits. Zero means unlimited only where the field explicitly says so; do not apply that convention to other amounts or durations.

#### Withdrawals and transfers

Configure withdrawal permission, locked period, early penalty and the percentage refundable on cancellation. Transfers have a separate permission. Values should match published terms and the operations actually supported.

#### Loans and death capital

For loans: permission, interest rate, maximum share of savings and collateral requirement. For death benefits: benefit type, amount or multiplier and fundraising cost when available. Review the generated contract and required evidence before real use.

### Subscriptions, contracts and requests

Link offers to people and follow entitlements and requests.

Where to find this option : Products and benefits → Contracts and guarantees; member workspace → My products / My benefits

#### Check a subscription

Select the person and offer, then review status, dates and applied terms. A visible catalogue offer does not mean the member subscribed. The member dashboard presents entitlements that are actually available.

#### Process a request

Members use the native request or form offered for their contract, attach required documents and follow the decision. Staff review the reason, entitlement and evidence before accepting or rejecting with an appropriate response.

#### Check dates

Expiry or suspension can change available benefits. Check maintenance tasks, contract dates and associated payments when an expected entitlement is missing.

### Contributions, due dates and debts

Follow amounts due and confirmed payments.

Where to find this option : Contributions and treasury → Contributions and debts

#### Filter and inspect

Use the available person, status and period filters. Open details to distinguish the expected amount, reference and payment state. The schedule depends on the offer and contribution rules.

#### Handle payment

Members use an active gateway or authorised payment journey. A pending payment may be confirmed after server verification. Treasury reconciliation is a subsequent accounting step; do not record the same receipt twice.

#### Check automation

Debt generation and reminders depend on the scheduler. If a due item or reminder is missing, check scheduling and business rules before manually recreating entries.

### Accounts, cash and movements

Distinguish balance, receipts, commitments and period.

Where to find this option : Contributions and treasury → Overview / Accounts and cash / Movements

#### Create accounts

Define accounts with their label, type, opening date and active state. An opening balance is not operating income. Select the account actually involved in the transaction.

#### Record a movement

Select incoming or outgoing direction, a positive amount, date and reason. A transfer between accounts is not new external income. Outflows may be rejected if they cause a negative balance, including in historical balances.

#### Read totals

Compare the receipts and expenses period with the date of balances. Approved spending commitments can reduce availability. This version’s management summary uses XOF; an offer’s currency is a separate setting.

### Expenses and approval workflow

Separate requests, approval and disbursement.

Where to find this option : Contributions and treasury → Expenses / Expense alerts

#### Prepare and submit

Enter the purpose, amount, category, date, account and required evidence. A draft can be edited before submission. Own-request and all-request permissions determine visible records.

#### Approve then pay

An authorised reviewer checks the request, budget and evidence. Approval and disbursement are distinct actions. An approved expense remains a commitment until payment is recorded.

#### Correct with an audit trail

Use the offered cancellation or reversal to correct a processed operation. Review alerts and history; deleting a draft is not a substitute for reversing a real posting.

### Budgets and reconciliation

Plan allocations and connect receipts to postings.

Where to find this option : Contributions and treasury → Budgets / Receipts to reconcile / Reconciliation

#### Define an allocation

Choose the budget period, category and amount. Check the selected category if an expense appears outside budget. A closed period can prevent new postings on its dates.

#### Reconcile receipts

Review paid contributions not yet linked to a treasury posting. Check account, date and reference before confirming. The same source must not generate multiple movements.

## Communicate

### Messages, support and contact form

Find member conversations and visitor enquiries.

Where to find this option : Communication → Messages and support

#### Find an enquiry

The inbox centralises conversations handled by the server. Use search, read-state filters and pagination. Open a conversation to read its content and context. A contact form message is not automatically an email sent to your address.

#### Compose for a member

Choose a member from the allowed recipients and write a clear message. Staff accounts are not listed as ordinary members. Check the recipient before sending; read and send permissions are separate.

#### Understand visitor handling

Guest enquiries retain the supplied contact details. An internal note on a guest conversation stays internal in this version; it is not emailed to the visitor. For an external reply, use your contact details or a channel that is actually configured.

#### If something goes wrong

**Technical codes are displayed**

Check that V154 or later files are installed, then clear cached views. Do not enter a technical status key in place of message text.

### Push notifications and automation

Distinguish campaigns, event templates and delivery to a device.

Where to find this option : Communication → Push campaigns / Event notifications

#### Configure OneSignal

Enter the App ID and REST key in services, enable the channel and ensure the mobile project uses the same service. The phone must permit notifications and be registered. A database notification alone is not proof of Push delivery.

#### Prepare a campaign

Enter the title, message and available target. Check recipients and language before sending. A campaign is a real action; direct tests to identified test accounts.

#### Configure events

Events have email, SMS and Push toggles plus their subject and message bodies. Templates do not configure service credentials. Scheduled reminders require the scheduler to run.

### News, categories and documents

Publish content in the right place and language.

Where to find this option : Communication → Media and articles / Categories; Studio → Media library

#### Write and organise

Create a category, then enter the article title, text, image and available dates or states. Add required translations. A news card opens details and View more should open the list. Check publication status if an article is missing.

#### Add a document

Use the supported content or Document widget to publish a file. General website documents and private record evidence are different. The /documentation portal shows the organisation’s public library, not the administration user manual.

### Obituaries and death notices

Publish authorised notices and ceremony details.

Where to find this option : Communication → Obituaries

#### Create and review

Enter the person, dates, text, photo and available ceremony details. Check publication authority and contact information before making the notice public.

#### Keep business rights separate

A public notice does not automatically trigger a benefit, death capital or fundraising. Entitlements belong to the related offers, contracts and industry actions.

## Customise website and app

### Understand the Organisation Studio

A single entry point for identity, pages, media and translations.

Where to find this option : Organisation Studio

#### Choose a channel

Identity & publishing groups branding and published settings. Website covers presentation, pages and SEO. Flutter app covers native pages and components. Industry content handles installation and samples. Translations and Media library are shared tools.

#### Distinguish preview and publishing

Preview lets you inspect a configuration before applying it. Available actions depend on account capabilities. Historical tools remain available through legacy access and do not form a new HTML app editor.

### Branding, colours and publishing

Apply consistent identity to the website, administration and app.

Where to find this option : Studio → Identity & publishing → Appearance; App settings

#### Define branding

Set the organisation name and logo. Primary, secondary and background colours, typography, borders and buttons form the visual identity. Some industry screens use a dedicated structure while applying supported branding values.

#### Work by context

Website, member area and administration palettes may differ. Flutter header, bottom bar and drawer colours have their own fields. Check text and icon contrast before publishing.

#### Publish and restore

Save the draft, review the preview and publish with the appropriate permission. If another person changed the configuration, reload the latest version before retrying. History can restore an available configuration version without restoring all business data.

### Compose native Flutter pages

Configure supported pages using native components without WebViews.

Where to find this option : Studio → Flutter app → Each mobile page: text, languages and colours

#### Choose a page

The catalogue covers public and member pages: home, offers and details, news and articles, solidarity, profile, contributions, benefits, insured persons, dependants, notifications, documents, contracts, requests, login, registration and information pages. Choose an existing page from the Studio list.

#### Organise blocks

Add or remove allowed blocks, change their order and choose a presentation. Configure title, text, media, action and translations. Data widgets display records available and authorised for the user; do not copy private data into public text.

#### Check the result

Save and refresh the app. Check the page as a guest and with relevant profiles, including a small screen. The Studio publishes configuration for existing components; it does not load remote Dart or HTML as a mobile screen.

Where to find this option : Studio → Flutter app → Flutter widgets / Composer

#### Choose by content

Blocks include slider, gallery, video, text and animated text, action button, calendar, news, offers, donation, next contribution, benefits, quick links, support, statistics, FAQ, testimonials, quote, image and text, divider, spacing, countdown and documents. Not every type fits every slot.

#### Set layout

Composer formats include hero, cards, carousel, grid, masonry, list, horizontal, split, minimal, full width and timeline. Dashboard widgets use their own subset. Order and visibility are configured independently.

#### Respect media and action requirements

A video or image needs a supported media source and a button needs a supported destination. Native information pages allow 24 widgets per page and their galleries keep up to eight images. These are not automatically the limits of every other editor.

### Web pages and industry website

Compose website pages and keep navigation coherent.

Where to find this option : Studio → Website → Model pages / Compose pages

#### Choose the correct tool

Installed-model pages carry its industry sections. The web composer configures sections for supported pages. Historical page and block settings remain compatibility tools; a new web page does not automatically create a Flutter screen.

#### Build and connect

Enter titles, text, images, actions and translations; enable sections and set order. Then add the required website menu links and test the URL directly. A menu item does not create its target page.

#### Preserve journeys

Website and Flutter compositions are separate. Check industry links for login, registration, payment, news and contact. Legal pages should stay accessible from their advertised locations.

### Website menus and mobile navigation

Configure targets, order and allowed audiences.

Where to find this option : Studio → Website → Navigation; Flutter app → Flutter navigation

#### Create a useful entry

Set a label, icon, link type, target and order. On mobile choose placement and the offered audiences: guest, member, staff or relevant profile. Submenus and product variants depend on the displayed form.

#### Keep bars coherent

Native bottom navigation is limited to five allowed targets. Industry screens may own their bar; it should not be duplicated by another global bar. The drawer groups other destinations.

#### Test access

Preview each offered audience. Hiding a menu item does not remove account capability and displaying a link does not grant server permission. Use roles to authorise actions and visibility to organise the interface.

### About, FAQ, contact and legal pages

Publish fixed information in enabled languages.

Where to find this option : App settings → Deployment and pages; Studio → Native pages

#### Enable pages

Native information pages include guarantees, About, FAQ, contact, legal notice, terms, privacy and data deletion. Enable pages whose content is ready and linked from the relevant locations.

#### Write per language

Complete titles, text and widgets in platform languages. Keep official names, brands, numbers and form values consistent. Configure supported premium About elements instead of pasting a website HTML page.

#### Check data deletion

Explain the organisation’s request channel and required information. Publishing an information page does not mean an account is immediately deleted without processing. Check your installation’s form and follow-up process.

### Mutual presentation and carousels

Enrich native home presentation and content.

Where to find this option : Studio → Flutter app → Mutual presentation

#### Prepare content

Enter the offered carousel, video, document and text content in ten languages. Choose images suited to each section and mobile framing. Demo reference visuals and your organisation’s custom media are separate.

#### Check actions

Open each button in the app: offers, news, support and member workspace should reach their corresponding native screens. Content changes do not replace actual offers or records.

### Media library and public files

Upload, find and reuse supported media.

Where to find this option : Organisation Studio → Media library

#### Upload and search

Choose a file accepted by the form, then use search and selection tools to find it. Media-library fields can reuse a file without uploading it again. Formats and limits depend on the field: payment logos and native-page images do not share the same limit.

#### Publish without breaking links

Check the preview and usage before deleting media. A reused file may appear on several pages. Do not place identity documents or private photos in a public component.

### Client website SEO and sharing

Set metadata and publish useful accessible pages.

Where to find this option : Studio → Website; Web settings → SEO

#### Set metadata

Set a clear title, accurate description, sharing image and offered robots rules. Check public URLs and content in each language. A keywords field does not guarantee search rankings.

#### Improve content

Explain your industry, services, service area, membership, contact and available apps. Use structured headings, relevant images and working links. Previews, accounts and private screens are not public search pages.

#### Distinguish publisher marketing

The publisher’s MutualBoost marketing site and V153 SEO pages are managed centrally. Client settings do not modify that global website and the central demo mode does not change your site.

## Configure services

### Organisation and member numbering

Customise branding, startup and identifiers without renumbering existing members.

Where to find this option : Organisation Studio → Identity & publishing → Installation and ordinary accounts

#### Define the format

The pattern accepts your letters and separators plus {YYYY}, {YY}, {MM}, {DD}. Add exactly one counter from {SEQ:3} to {SEQ:12}. For example B {SEQ:4} produces B 0001; {YYYY}{MM}{DD}-{SEQ:3} combines the date and counter.

#### Understand the scope

The pattern applies to new members. Existing numbers remain unchanged and the server checks collisions. The administrator login entered during setup is a separate sign-in identifier.

#### Configure startup

Set the startup title, subtitle and available animation: orbit, ripple, bars, timeline or constellation. Then review public navigation, limited to five shortcuts with Home retained. Industry-specific screens may manage their own navigation.

#### Settings to understand

**Incomplete pattern**

A single counter is required; unknown variables and unsupported characters are rejected.

### Configure payments

Enable payment channels and customise presentation without changing technical identity.

Where to find this option : Contributions and treasury → Payment gateways; Payment configuration

#### Configure the provider

This version presents Wave, CinetPay, TouchPay, PayPal and Flutterwave in the shared catalogue. Enable a channel and enter the credentials required for your account and environment. Historical compatibility fields do not establish that extra channels work in every journey.

#### Customise the choice

Public name, logo and order change presentation; the provider’s technical identifier stays the same. Logos accept PNG, JPG or WebP up to 2 MB and 4096 × 4096 pixels. Use a short recognisable name.

#### Verify the full cycle

Test provider handoff, browser return, server notification and final record status. Return and cancellation URLs guide the browser; server verification and reconciliation establish actual payment. Existing credentials may remain masked in the form.

#### Settings to understand

**Guest payment**

Guest-button visibility is configured under Registration and payment. It does not bypass product requirements or payment verification.

**Secrets**

Do not copy secrets into public content or screenshots. Test the affected channel after replacing credentials.

### Email, SMS and contact details

Configure delivery services and displayed contact details.

Where to find this option : Administration → Email, SMS and notifications; Business rules

#### Configure email

Enter SMTP host, port, username, password, encryption and sender. Verify that the server can reach the provider and the sender address is authorised. A footer email address does not configure SMTP.

#### Configure SMS and contacts

Choose the SMS provider, required credentials and sender name. Public contact settings include phone, WhatsApp, address, opening hours, email, map and social links depending on the screen. Check them on the website and native pages.

### Private photos and record documents

Keep personal evidence outside the public website.

Where to find this option : Studio → Private profile photos; member records

#### Choose appropriate storage

Use profile and private-document screens for evidence. Access may require a session or signed URL. Do not reuse a temporary URL as a permanent public image.

#### Check permissions

Check access with the relevant user profile. Private widgets should use the member’s authorised record rather than a copy of personal information in public page text.

### Enable languages and choose a mode

Ten supported languages for website and app.

Where to find this option : Studio → Languages and translations → Enabled languages

#### Choose the policy

Available languages are French, English, Spanish, Portuguese, German, Arabic, Italian, Dutch, Turkish and Swahili. Set the primary language, single or multiple mode and automatic detection for each available channel.

#### Understand the selector

In single-language mode users cannot select another language. In multiple mode enabled languages determine choices. Device language can be detected automatically; an explicit choice is distinct from the server default. Arabic uses right-to-left layout.

#### Test each channel

Check public, member and administration journeys, then forms, products and news. These detailed manuals are supplied in full French and English versions, separately from the app’s ten supported languages.

### Translate interfaces and content

Separate interface text, editable content and technical values.

Where to find this option : Languages and translations → Content / Catalogue

#### Choose the correct source

Fixed interface text comes from the catalogue; Studio titles, descriptions and sections have content translations. Offers, articles, pages and forms also need translations wherever those fields are available.

#### Preserve technical values

Translate labels, help and descriptions. Do not translate field identifiers, paths, condition values, message variables or keys expected by imports. Preserve brands, official names and amounts.

#### Fix untranslated text

Search the exact phrase in the catalogue and check that the language is enabled. For Studio content complete its translation on the relevant screen. Save, refresh app settings and recheck the same screen in the selected language.

### Export and import translations

Update the complete catalogue using CSV files or a validated archive.

Where to find this option : Languages and translations → Global export / import

#### Export before editing

Download the French source, per-language catalogues or combined CSV. Keep an original copy. Source text is the matching key; changing it arbitrarily may prevent a translation from being found.

#### Prepare the file

Use the exported template and UTF-8 encoding. Per-language files use source_text and translated_text; the combined file includes locale. Keep the template’s headers and separators without adding text before the columns.

#### Import and review

Select the file and offered replacement options. Read the report, rejected rows and retained translations. Validation checks text integrity among other rules; an import should not alter technical rules.

### Assisted translation and budget

Configure automation while separating saving from execution.

Where to find this option : Languages and translations → Translation automation

#### Configure the service

Enter the key in its dedicated field, choose the offered model, mode, batch size and daily cap. The key is stored encrypted in the designated storage; preserving the app encryption key is necessary to read it.

#### Start deliberately

Saving settings does not itself send a paid request. Manual or automatic execution depends on activated actions and toggles. Including public content is a separate choice. Monitor batches and usage, then review important translations.

#### Stop or correct

Disable automatic execution to stop future batches. For an unreadable stored key, check the retained encryption key or replace the service key. A budget cap or remote quota may stop a batch without deleting the existing catalogue.

### Store links, minimum version and maintenance

Separate displayed links from actual app publication.

Where to find this option : App settings → Deployment and pages; Studio → Download links

#### Configure links

Enter the Google Play and App Store URLs for your own app. Links open existing listings; they do not create store applications. Check them from Android, iOS and the website.

#### Control an update

Minimum version and force-update settings are separate from the compiled build number. Publish a version that is actually available before increasing the minimum. A missing store link can block a user asked to update.

#### Use maintenance mode

Enable maintenance and its message when offered, then check the intended public and mobile journeys. This does not replace backups, controlled processing shutdown or licence management.

### Status messages and pending accounts

Adapt information without changing the record’s real state.

Where to find this option : Administration → Flutter status messages; Business rules

#### Write the message

Choose the relevant state, text and available options. Explain the next expected action, such as supplying a document or awaiting approval. Empty text should not create an empty banner.

#### Separate message from rule

Text does not approve an account or change its permissions. Pending-account presentation and automatic approvals are separate rules. Check rendering with an account in the relevant state.

### General business rules

Set approvals, dates and shared rules.

Where to find this option : Administration → Business rules

#### Configure approvals

Automatic approval for members, insured persons and beneficiaries is independent. Review form, product and payment requirements before enabling automation.

#### Understand dates and fees

Contribution day, waiting period and general penalty are separate from offer rules. Check values actually applied to a record and its contracts rather than inferring results from one settings screen.

## Maintain and troubleshoot

### Roles, capabilities and assignments

Grant necessary rights while distinguishing members from staff.

Where to find this option : Administration → Roles and capabilities / Role assignments

#### Create a role

Choose a name, active state and capabilities by domain. Reading, creating, editing, submitting, approving, paying, cancelling and exporting are distinct actions. Expenses include an own-requests-only permission.

#### Assign the correct person

Find the user, verify identity and assign required roles. Membership or product subscription does not automatically grant administration rights. Disable the role or remove the assignment to close the relevant access.

#### Test access

Test menus and actions using the target account. Studio capabilities distinguish reading, previewing, customising, publishing, restoring and demo management. The manual may describe a tool missing from your menu because the account lacks its permission.

Tontines et cycles : tontines.view, tontines.manage, tontines.review

Nécrologie : necrologie.view, necrologie.create, necrologie.update, necrologie.delete

### Activity log and review

Find logged actions and their context.

Where to find this option : Administration → Activity log

#### Find an event

Filter by period, resource or action using the available tools. Record the person and operation involved. The log covers instrumented actions; absence of an entry does not prove no action happened.

#### Prepare a correction

Compare the log, business record and payment or treasury references. Keep a record before major corrections and use authorised interface actions.

### Backups, exports and imports

Distinguish data exports from full recovery.

Where to find this option : Administration → Backups and exports

#### Choose what to export

Use available exports for the records and data you need. Files can contain personal and technical information; store them privately and limit distribution. Check spreadsheet-format files before importing them into another tool.

#### Back up the installation

Recovery backup includes the database, files and media, local configuration and keys needed to read encrypted data. List or translation exports do not replace a full backup.

#### Restore carefully

Test restoration in an isolated environment. Model, sample and translation imports each require their own format and screen; they do not have the same scope.

### Update centre and versions

Apply compatible releases while preserving client configuration.

Where to find this option : Administration → Update centre

#### Prepare the update

Review the version and release information. Back up before modifying an installation in use. The update-verification public key is distinct from the licence-signing key.

#### Apply and verify

Use the package for your client distribution and its available checks. After deployment clear caches and review the release’s required migrations. Check login, registration, products, payments, messaging and pages.

#### Coordinate the app

Published-content changes can reach an existing app. New components or Dart fixes require a rebuilt mobile app. Laravel server and Flutter lib updates therefore follow different procedures.

### Connect and build the client app

Set the correct server and prepare Android or iOS in the complete project.

Where to find this option : Complete Flutter project → lib/config/client_environment.dart

#### Set the client API

The MUTUALBOOST_API_BASE_URL build variable must be the client server HTTPS URL ending in /api, without credentials, query or fragment. The publisher central domain is not a client app API. MUTUALBOOST_STORAGE_URL is optional for a custom storage origin.

#### Use the complete project

A lib/ archive contains Dart screens and services; it does not replace Android/iOS folders, pubspec.yaml, signing, icons or store settings. Preserve these in your project. App identity, capabilities and links should match your organisation.

#### Build and test

Replace the example URL with your client domain, verify signing and increase the build version before publication. Android produces an App Bundle for Google Play. iOS builds require macOS, Xcode and the project’s Apple configuration. Test on a device and internal distribution first.

#### Settings to understand

**Dedicated publisher build**

The MUTUALBOOST_PUBLISHER_DEMO_APP build parameter defaults to false. Only a dedicated publisher demo app should set it to true to allow the known central domain. Client settings cannot turn it on. The server must still confirm its publisher role and demo mode.

```
flutter pub get
flutter analyze
flutter build appbundle --release --dart-define=MUTUALBOOST_API_BASE_URL=https://client.example.com/api
flutter build ipa --release --dart-define=MUTUALBOOST_API_BASE_URL=https://client.example.com/api
```

### Scheduler, storage and server maintenance

Check the tasks actually defined in this project.

Where to find this option : Hosting / system administration

#### Enable the scheduler

Laravel cron runs schedule:run every minute from the project directory using the appropriate PHP. Check schedule:list on the actual installation; licence, update and processing schedules depend on loaded files and commands.

#### Know business tasks

This version’s kernel defines pending-payment reconciliation every five minutes, contract expiry at 00:20, debts at 00:00, automated notifications at 08:00 and contribution reminders at 08:15. The update centre and translation automation add their tasks.

#### Check media and caches

Check the public web root, HTTPS and configured storage access. After code or view updates use optimize:clear, followed by caching commands required for your deployment. Review logs without publishing secrets or member data.

```
php artisan schedule:list
php artisan optimize:clear
# Cron example: adapt PHP and project paths
* * * * * cd /path/to/project && php artisan schedule:run >> /dev/null 2>&1
```

### Troubleshoot common problems

Start from the symptom and check the correct channel.

Where to find this option : Relevant page Help; server logs for the technical team

#### A change is not visible

Check the actual installation, page, channel, language and publication you changed. Reload the website or app settings. Account-specific content and permissions can explain differences from preview.

#### An option is missing

Check installed industry, enabled module, role, available route and version. Menu visibility, capability and module activation are distinct controls. The reference lists discovered fields; some are conditional or retained for compatibility.

#### Prepare a support request

Provide domain, version, role, language, screen, action, expected result and exact message. Useful screenshots hide names, keys, purchase codes and personal data. Specify whether the issue affects the website, Android or iOS.

#### If something goes wrong

**403 error**

Check the role and action capability; a visible link is insufficient.

**419 error**

Reload the form and sign in again if needed to renew the session.

**422 error**

Read validation errors and correct the flagged fields.

**409 error or changed revision**

Reload the latest configuration and compare before saving again.

**Payment remains pending**

Check provider, reference and server verification; do not confirm from the browser return alone.

**No Push received**

Check phone permission, OneSignal registration, App ID, server key, target and task execution.

## Ten industries

### Mutual organisation

Membership, offers, contributions, coverage and benefit requests.

Where to find this option : Installed-industry workspace on the website and in the app

#### Organise coverage

Create offers, enter coverage, documents and insured/beneficiary limits, then test subscription. Members see entitlements, contributions and requests in available sections.

#### Follow requests

Review contract entitlements and evidence before deciding. Demo accounts and requests are examples and do not establish actual coverage.

### Rotating savings groups and cycles

Groups, participants, cycles, turns, due items, payments and payouts.

Where to find this option : Installed-industry workspace on the website and in the app

#### Prepare a cycle

Create the group, rules and participants, then configure the cycle and turn order using available actions. Review amounts, recurrence, dates and membership before starting.

#### Process payments

Follow due items and declarations, then validate payments and payouts with the appropriate permissions. Workshop simulation is separate from the real ledger. Do not advance a turn merely to hide arrears.

### Association

Members, board, events, registrations and dues.

Where to find this option : Installed-industry workspace on the website and in the app

#### Manage association activity

Maintain members and board positions with dates. Create events, locations, capacities and dates, then follow registrations. Participation conditions and event status determine available actions.

#### Follow payments

Define dues and review declarations, references and confirmations. News and documents complement public information without changing balances.

### Cooperative

Producers, production, orders and cash movements.

Where to find this option : Installed-industry workspace on the website and in the app

#### Organise production

Create producers and relevant details, then production entries: crop, season, quantity, unit price and state when offered. Check units before comparing quantities.

#### Follow exchanges

Review orders and decisions, then incoming and outgoing movements with date, purpose and amount. Imported data remains editable according to permissions and installed industry.

### NGO

Projects, beneficiaries, donation campaigns, follow-ups and impact.

Where to find this option : Installed-industry workspace on the website and in the app

#### Describe work

Create projects and campaigns with summaries, area, deadlines and objectives. Link beneficiaries and follow-ups to the relevant programmes. Available reports use recorded data.

#### Review declarations

Review donation declarations and references before confirming or rejecting. Confirming one’s own declaration may be blocked to require a second review. Fictional samples are not received donations.

### Staff welfare association

Members, welfare fund, dues, aid and expenses.

Where to find this option : Installed-industry workspace on the website and in the app

#### Manage members and dues

Maintain staff and relevant details, then review dues and payment declarations. Supply requested references and evidence rather than an arbitrary paid state.

#### Handle aid requests

Members submit a request with a reason; authorised staff review and decide. Expenses and public content have dedicated screens.

### Diaspora

International members, contributions, projects, registrations and aid.

Where to find this option : Installed-industry workspace on the website and in the app

#### Present projects

Enter projects and content for your community, then follow participation and contributions. Choose clear currencies and terms in relevant products; a demo rate is not a foreign-exchange service.

#### Follow requests

Review registrations and aid requests with their reasons and responses. Profile, help and contact pages should reflect your organisation’s details.

### Sports and cultural clubs

Memberships, disciplines, events, registrations, projects and contributions.

Where to find this option : Installed-industry workspace on the website and in the app

#### Prepare activities

Enter club details, activities, events and registration conditions. Check dates, capacities and media. Registrations are processed through the industry workspace rather than a banner’s text.

#### Follow commitments

Review memberships, dues and project support. Staff use authorised content and validation actions; members see their own information in their workspace.

### Merchants and artisans

Groups, dues, orders, deliveries and cash.

Where to find this option : Installed-industry workspace on the website and in the app

#### Organise operations

Maintain members, group products or content, then review dues and orders. Check items, quantities, prices and references before confirmation.

#### Follow deliveries

Use the delivery action where available and keep requested evidence. Delivered order status and confirmed payment are separate facts.

### Schools and parent associations

Parents and pupils, dues, projects, registrations and requests.

Where to find this option : Installed-industry workspace on the website and in the app

#### Prepare records

Maintain people and their relationships, then offered school projects and content. Check child and guardian details without placing them on the public website.

#### Process journeys

Follow dues, project support, registrations and requests. Decisions and responses are recorded using authorised actions. Demo exercises remain separate examples.

## Fields and settings reference

Listed fields are identified in this version’s forms and schemas. Availability depends on industry, permissions and channel. Saved data and secrets are never included.

Some historical options are retained for compatibility. Actual permissions and native rendering remain authoritative.
